Job Title: Web Application Developer
Location: Neenah, WI
Duration: Fulltime / Permanent
Job Details:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABLITIES
• Ability to evaluate and resolve less complex business problems.
• Ability to work with customers to define requirements and manage issues surrounding software development.
• Understanding and knowledge of version control.
• Demonstrated object oriented software development experience with JAVA and .Net technologies
• Experience with Web Service Design and Development using Java and .Net Technologies (including WCF Web Services, MVC design pattern, LINQ)
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience with XML technologies ( XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSL, XSL:FO and XSLT)
• Development experience with web application framework and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery)
• Experience using MS SQL Server as a database back-end, including SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Experience interfacing with external Java based API’s
• Experience creating technical documentation
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKLLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of Content Management systems
• Working knowledge of iterative development process
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 product suite, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, and Microsoft Office 2010 product suite
• Knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimsCenter
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or university and/or three to five years’ experience or any combination of the above experience and learning; advanced degree in related field preferred; property/casualty insurance or financial services experience desired.
